Race Day 4: Exciting Conditions at the 2025 ILCA U21 Europeans
Ideal weather conditions graced the 2025 ILCA Under-21 European Championships & Open European Trophy in Split, Croatia, with 16 to 20 knots of Jugo winds and 1 to 1.5-meter waves providing a thrilling challenge for all 237 sailors in the ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 classes.
The Gold and Silver Men’s fleets completed their first two final series races, while the Women’s single fleet has now completed eight races in total.
Although the day wasn’t long, it was both challenging and exhausting, with strong winds and waves pushing the sailors to their limits. After racing, the sailors were warmly welcomed at the JK Mornar yacht club, where they enjoyed a well-deserved hot meal to refuel for the remaining days of competition.
With two more days of racing ahead, here are the provisional leaders in all three competitions:
